| does anyone know what "CID" is? | | I have just been told today that I may have "CID" which is a degeneration of the nerve linings, but wasn't told much more than that, except that the neurologist wants to do a spinal tap on me to confirm that I have this.My question is this. does anyone really know what this disease is? If stopped for a few minutes at a drive through with trans in D, it frequently seems to freewheel when taking off. It will occasionally jerk when it finally catches. It does not slip, it just seems to lose pressure or hunt for a gear. Other times it just goes on with no problem. Maybe because I'm paying more attention lately, but it seems to have a whine sometimes. Truck has 127k miles and fluid and filter were changed about a year and 5,000 miles ago. Is this transmission controlled mechanically or electronically? | |
