| Gears of war, A Game or a Job? | | I'll just say it took me a year to complete gears 1. As far as gears 2 you really have to spent a year of game play to complete it. I plan to complete it but i was wondering how this mad others feel. Is this game and the games today are so indepth that they aren't fun but more like a job? Or is it that we enjoy repetitive, easy, task task that are rewarding in some way? Either way i'd like to know what addict you to video games. Acheivements and trophys are not an acceptable answer. | | | Gears of War 2 Title Update 3 | | So word over at the Epic forums says that title update 3 will fix quite a few of the problems with online play.The main addition will be regional filtering for matchmaking - If you're from Australia, it'll search for other Australians first, and will only seek international players as a last resort.This is good news for everyone, as in it's current state, for anyone outside of the U.S. (and a lot of the time for those in the U.S. too), matchmaking is a horrid laggy piece of junk.No official date for the release of TU3, but it's something to look forward to. | |

| Gears of War 2 Amazon Lancers | | So I was wondering who else out there ended up getting one of those full sized Lancer replicas from Amazon?I'm in Australia, and Amazon won't ship them internationally, so I had to go through ebay and pay and arm and a leg.The first guy I bought off ripped me off and it took about three months to get most of my money back, but then I eventually got one off a second seller.It's neat I guess.So yeah, who else spent a buttload to get one? | |
