| Atari 2600 vs ColecoVision vs Intellivision.... | | For those of us old enough to remember these gaming systems which one did you own? And which one did you like the best?I owned a Atari 2600, we had to Pre-Order Pacman for it through Sears where we purchased the 2600.I owned a ColecoVision, better sound and graphics and the optional Atari 2600 game adapter was a plus! I just wish it had the support that the 2600 had.I never owned a Intellivision but I had a friend who did. The controllers were terrible, and the games were ok. I liked a few of them, but the graphics were downright terrible.

| | When I was a kid... | | We had to get up and change the channel, had about 13 choices. Rabbit ears were common. Then we had pong on intellivision. Thought we had died and gone to heaven with that game. I remember buying a radio that was in headphones that were huge but portable. Nothing like the i-pods of today! The cars had only front seatbelts and we rode in the back without a second thought. I can remember summer road trips riding in the back of the old station wagon sucking in the fumes. When handheld calculaters came out we had to sneak them into math class! We thought we had it all and had it good and perhaps we did. Had to walk to a payphone if we needed to make a call. Now with everyone and their cellphones it is hard to find a working payphone. So many things have changed and so much has stayed the same. Do you appreciate the modern world we live in or do you miss the simpler life you had as a child? | |

| What game system did you grow up with? | | When I was a kid I had a Sega Master System II. The one with Alex Kidd built into it. I absolutely loved it and actually still have it (somewhere!).
It brings back memories when I think about it. I actually can finish the game in about 40 minutes. I have never played Alex Kidd 2 but would like to.
My mum always gets excited whenever she has the chance to play Space Invaders becuase she used to play it down at the local snack bar on the old school table.. things.
So did you play video games when you were young or were they not invented yet? What was the first system you ever played?I think the first ever game system was the intellivision. I believe it came out in the very early 80s??? I have played one of those and it is sooo basic but very cool! | |

| 80's Verses the 90's which was better? do you remember this? | | 80's VS 90's"Eminem"= "Vanilla Ice"White rappers! eminem is way better and hotter though.
"Marilyn Manson"= "Boy George"Both are gender-bender singers, popular in their heyday.
"Mariah Carey"= "Whitney Houston"Both belt their heads off. Both incredibly talented and divas for the history books. Just as "Saving All My Love for You" and then "How Will I Know" catapulted Houston into success, "Vision of Love" was Carey's fame-maker, one of the most successful debuts in history. Also, "I Will Always Love You" and "One Sweet Day" are the same drawn-out, over-produced, melodramatic song.
"American Pie"= "Fast Times At Ridgemont High"Sex driven teen comedy!
"Tai-Boh"= "Jazzercise"Group excerise to music.
"Click Hits"= "Pocket Rockers"They both play music and fit in your pocket.
"8 simple rules"= "Family Ties"Both are TV sitcoms that were based around family life in those times.
"J-Lo"= "Samantha Fox"All boobs/no buns vs. all buns/no uns; neither can sing worth a damn, but holy crap were/are they hot!
"The Fast and the Furious"= "Point Break"The one had surfboards and wetsuits and the other had suped up Honda Civics and nitrous but it's the same movie.
"Portable CD... | |
