| Nintendo DS? Nintendo DS Lite? | | I really need some help on this one guys. My eldest son had a ds lite for Christmas and birthday (his birthday is 6th January) as he was then 8. My middle son really wants one but I have told him that he couldn't have one until he too was 8. The only problem is that his birhtday is in May so I couldn't give it to him as a joint birthday and Christmas present. So I came up with a possible answer to this and that is to buy him a reconditioned old style DS. They are of course a lot cheaper but I was wondering what the huge difference is between the DS and ds lite. I know the ds lite comes in lots of different colours and is slimmer but is that where the differences end? Can you still send messages between a DS and a ds lite?
