| | Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007 A Review (X-Box) | | For everyone that has been playing the Tiger Woods series of games since 2000 here is my review of the latest edition, Tiger Woods 2007(X-Box).
The feel and the game play are exactly the same as they have been in the past versions of the TW series of games. Overall I have really enjoyed the evolution of the game since 2000. On thing I am glad they finally got rid of was the EA Gambreaker. In the past two years versions the EA Gambreaker has taken all of the challenge out of the game. Another thing I am glad to see are some of the of fantasy courses back, such as The Predator. Some diehard gaming enthusiasts might think that EA Sports is just rehashing old ideas. Personally I thought many of the old ideas worked better then some of the newer one's. Although they may be old, they are a refreshing change back to the games I have been playing now for the last 7 years.
They kept the accumulation of stat points the same as in the past years version of Tiger Woods. They have changed how you go about doing it. This years TW is set up for a lot of team matches. Once you defeat a player you recruit them to your team and build... | |

| | Tiger Woods Is Back Or He's Not? | | I see the press and the USPGA circuit buzzing as it appears that Tiger Woods will be back on the professional circuit minus of course, his sponsors and probably some fanfares since the revelations of his illicit affairs.Since, the expose Tiger Woods had not been practicing, let alone play. So, I am not expecting much but anticipating a quiet entrance and probably an early exit for this upcoming US Masters at Georgia's Augusta National Golf Club, where it is one of the most gruesome and toughest course.So far, it seems like every news report is making Woods's comeback an almost certain but at the back of my mind, I just have a my reservations. I feel he could have chosen another event than the Masters to stage a comeback.Whatever it is, I just hope that he will appear for this tournament and if possible will reach the final round. Its been almost 4 months now that the Tiger Woods world came crashing down on him. The allegations against Woods seemed unbearable that made him go into a hiatus situation where some of his sponsors even pulled the plug on him. It appears now, Tiger is set for a return next month to participate in the masters. He fears what others may have to say about his secret revelations, but this doesn't stop him from pursuing his love for Golf. You would think with a shaky marriage, Tiger Woods would better assess his situation and wait a little longer before re-launching his golf career. After all, we are led to believe that family takes first place in our lives about all else. Unless I am unaware of some important details, it leads me and others to believe that Tiger's fans, his love for golf and his career take first place in his life above his wife Elin and children. It is his family who has suffered the most in this whole tragedy of his and it looks like his family will continue to be secondary in his life again. In a world of high divorce rates, unstable marriages, infidelity, you would think that one will do whatever it is in his/her power to strenghn one's marriage... | |
| | Do You Think Tiger Woods Will Win? | | A couple of days ago it was announced that Tiger Woods is planning to return to golf next month. The news program that I was watching this on invited the viewers to send their blog and comment on whether they felt Tiger Woods will win the tournament.First of all, I got really tired, really fast at seeing his own personal category on the scroll at the bottom of ESPN2. Every other sport like - soccer, oly, tennis and golf were all labeled as such. Just because Woods had to be such a jerk, he got his own, special scroll called appropriately enough - Tiger. Then we all got to read the latest news on his life. What a joke. You get players like Mickleson and Els who, even though they have their faults, aren't the major screw up like Woods.
