| UFC Merchandize | | I really like the outfits worn by the fighters, any idea where we can buy them online? Say like BJ Penn's shorts? It would be awesome to collect them you know. I have scoured my place and can't find any board shorts that has slit in them similar to what most fighters wear during a fight. | |
| | UFC 114: Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs "Suga" Rashad Evans | | This is going to be a very big fight. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and "Suga" Rashad Evans have become some bitter rivals and there is no better way to settle the score than in the octagon. Jackson is out from the UFC for more than a year already and it's yet to be seen as to whether or not he's still got it. Evans on the other hand had very impressive victories over high quality fighters in the UFC and is considered as one of the top ranked light heavyweights in the world. This is going to be a war and for me, I'm giving the fight slightly to Evans. Evans is a much more technical fighter than Jackson. He's faster and quicker and got some heavy hands. Jackson's time away from the UFC might also be a factor. Evans via TKO. | |
| | UFC 113: Machida vs Rua 2 | | This is groomed to be a very big fight. After the controversial win by Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida in their first fight, both Machida and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua will be facing each other once again to finally settle the score. Rua was impressive in their first fight after he gave Machida a good beating. The judges scored a very close 48-47 card in favor of Machida on what resulted to be one of the most controversial wins in UFC last year. To finally settle it, Dana White put both fighters back in the octagon. What will Machida do to finally prove that he indeed deserved the win? Or will Rua finally make a statement by beating the defending champion? Will Rua stick to what worked in their first fight or will he surprise Machida with something else anticipating that Machida have already prepared himself for another familiar Rua assault? And what adjustments have Machida made in his game to finally get the advantage over Rua?Because of the bad decision made by the judges in their first fight, fans all over the world (except a few) are rooting for Rua in this fight. However, knowing that Machida is an intelligent fighter, it's highly possible that he would come up with something... | |

| | UFC Now or Them? Whos The Best? | | UFC has been around for many years, and has changed since it began dramatically.Although many people do not consider it a sport,I,myself,do.I have so much respect for all of the men that step in there because it is not easy being a fighter for a living.I think it is much better now than back in the day...It is more professional and people actually have to have skills now where as back then they didnt.Who do you think the best fighter in the UFC is,past or present?
My personal faves are Rampage and Josh Koscheck. Rampage has a mean power bomb and is just mean. Josh(hes my avatar) is also a great fighter with some good moves. | |
| | UFC 112, a big, big upset | | I just got over the news that Frank Edgar defeated BJ Penn in UFC 112 and very surprisingly, Edgar won on all judges cards, one judge even scored 50-45 in favor of Edgar. Penn is known to have an iron chin and is considered as one of the top fighters in the sport and it's just a huge upset for Edgar.Another surprise that got me is Anderson Silva's unanimous victory over Demian Maia. Considering Silva's way better striking skills than Maia, I really thought that this bout would not get past the first round or if it should, not in the second. Both Silva and Maia are great Jiu Jitsu fighters with Maia having a little edge but Silva's striking is unparalleled in this fight. And for us Filipinos, Mark Muñoz just had another very convincing win. Muñoz won via a TKO in the second round against Kendall Grove and that should ice him a spot to get some matches against the higher stacked fighters. Muñoz is indeed making a name for himself in the UFC.I still have to watch each of these fights over the internet and I'm just so excited. My picks Silva and Muñoz won their matches as well as Matt Hughes over Renzo Gracie. Hughes has defeated two Gracies in his career already and on a... | |

| | Do You Think Royce Gracie Is The Best UFC Champion Ever? | | We all know who Royce Gracie is. He is the very first UFC champion under Rorion Gracie just before MMA fighters knew all about Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Royce Gracie was the UFC 1,2, and 4 champion. But is he the best UFC champion this martial sport ever had? | |
| | UFC Masters division | | Seeing some of the top tier talent from a few years back falling off and going on losing streaks really made me think, how popular would a division for over 40 UFC fighters be? WHen theres already a few still fighting like Couture, Coleman, and Tank Abbot, maybe an over 40 division would bring back more of the pioneers of the sport.I remember in one of the original UFCs a guy fought who was in his 50's, now Randy is the "old man" of the sport at 45.Anyways, after seeing the hype leading up to the Couture-Coleman fight, do you think battles between legends like this would make for an interesting division or would it be more of a freakshow? | |

| Do you think UFC will totaly eclipse boxing in the future? | | Im thinking that UFC will be bigger than boxing since they have a difference in excitement and intensity. On my opinion, Its only Paquiao and Mayweather holds the sport aif they retire, its a dooms day for boxing. Which strategie should the sport of boxing do to do well with the competition with UFC? | |
